Note - In Notepad++ 5.8.2, the built-in update check (Update Notepad++) did not find new version (result message - No update is available), but newer version 5.8.5 was available at the time. I downloaded and installed newer version.
So the Update Notepad++ built-in update may not work reliably, I recommend if update check does not report update available, then check manually just in case.
